The Oxford Union, famous for hosting political leaders along with the internationally famous from the worlds of showbiz, sport and science, provides the perfect setting for a lavish black-tie ball.
This year guests will be transported into Dante's Inferno and taken on a magnificent journey through the nine circles of hell. Gluttony, extravagance and indulgence will reach new heights as guests gorge on Italian cuisine, knock back cocktails and dance to the live jazz band.
The night will be full of fantastical pleasures with contortionists, snake charmers and stilt walkers guiding guests through the underworld to the rodeo bull Minotaur in the 6th circle.
When the depths of darkness descend one circle will be transformed into a silent disco and guests will be dancing alongside historic statues and spinning in spots where the internationally famous have spoken.

All students are given the option to join the Union which gives them life-time membership.
Union members can buy tickets for the balls for themselves and guests.
Some of the food and drink stalls may be outside so bring a coat!
