Today is the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race!
The route is detailed above and with such gorgeous weather it's bound to be a great event to watch!

I watched from Furnival Gardens today and the atmosphere was buzzing! There was such a great turn out and everyone was on tenterhooks watching the races!
Sadly the Oxford women's boat didn't win their race but the men's boat absolutely smashed it, after winning the toss at the start of the race they went on to secure their fourth victory in five years against Cambridge!
Oxford finished in 16 minutes and 59 seconds, four seconds and one and a quarter lengths ahead of their rivals...what a result!
