I didn't think the week of my book launch could get any more exciting but then, I was invited to stay in a gorgeous apartment, owned by Oxfordshire Living and wow, it was amazing!
Before the launch, I headed to the apartment with my family. It was situated just a few minutes walk from the Westgate Centre, behind the Oxford Castle - very much in the hub of the city centre which was ideal.
As we walked through the door, we were totally blown away by the stunning, contemporary decor and large spacious rooms. The apartment was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroomed, beautifully interiored vision of soft rugs, funky chairs and bold art - it oozed luxury!
We headed into the open plan kitchen/lounge where I was greeted by my own 'That Oxford Girl'
balloon, along with a hamper overflowing with prosecco, chocolates, cookies and a handwritten note welcoming me. Vanessa, the lovely owner, told me previously that she is all about these personal touches, wanting to ensure everyone has a super special stay.
We popped open the prosecco and tucked into the nibbles, whilst lying on the plush sofas.
Post-launch, I headed back to the apartment with my boyfriend, where we enjoyed a few late night snacks from our hamper before crashing in the really comfortable bed, after one of the craziest days of my life!
The next morning, the apartment was perfectly located to stroll over to Westgate, then have a mooch around the colleges and a spot of lunch.
